Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quality I've been buying this product over 10+ years. In the last year or so very dissatisfied. Just a bag of dust mainly and very dusty to pour. This is the only non-clumping litter, would prefer without the added fragrances as they are bad for cats. Worsens my allergies as the litter is just a bag of dust. The quality has gone down have to use more, and sticks like wet concrete to pan.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fresh step is terrible litter anymore. They went to this dark charcoal gray litter that you need a backhoe to get off the pan. And yes I use plenty in the box. It clumps together into a brick. Just awful. I’m done with fresh step after this box after 17 years. Plus the picture on the box is not accurate.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Change in Quality I have used Fresh Step for many years . What has happened to the litter ? It used to have such a great smell and odor control. The last several boxes the consistency of the litter has changed , it only smells when pouring it out of the box , and it doesn’t do much to control odors. The prices is also a bit high. I have used Fresh Step clumping & Clean Paws . The scented ones . The decrease in quality and the increase in price is not a good thing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Change formula I have been using Freshstep litter for15 years now all of the sudden my cat urinates and the litter turns to a hard lump. Litter used to last me 3 weeks now I barely get one week out of a change. I may have to get rid of my cat because of the cost of litter.
