Rated 2 out of 5 by from This product is not what it is advertised to be. I’ve had a more difficult time controlling oder with crystals than with regular clay litter. The urine soaks into the crystals and as a result the ammonia can be smelled within days unlike clay litter you remove both feces and urine. It can also be very uncomfortable if your cat trails crystals throughout the house. Definitely not a good choice for a multi cat household.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Is this really worth it? We have 2 cats and are currently searching for a new cat litter. The stuff we've been using for years is no longer controlling the urine smell. We tried a popular silica cat litter and loved it, but are looking for a cheaper alternative. The color changing part of the litter is not a necessity and showed that neither of the cats have any health issues. I thought this would be a good replacement, but we haven't even had it in for a week and we're going to have to pitch it because it's not covering the odor. It's been cleaned daily and we've followed the directions for cleaning it as well. The XL size litter pan was replaced on 03/30/24 and the medium litter pan was replaced on 04/02/24 with this litter and on 04/05/24, the smell became really bad. It's also very messy! The crystals are larger and more are tracked out of the box as a result. We're going to go to Walmart or Pet Smart and try something else out today. If we could afford to keep buying the other stuff, we would!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! I bought 2 bags of the Fresh Step Crystals ,which is more expensive than other litters,thinking I would only have to change once a month. After 1 1/2 weeks our covered litter box has a very strong ammonia odor!! When my cat pees it turns green and if I spread the litter out it is very wet underneath. This certainly doesn't last as long as stated!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

This litter gave my cat asthma the only difference during those 2 1/2 months was I switched from pretty litter to fresh crystals to see if it worked just as good as pretty litter. Well, it didn’t because it gave my cat asthma so I have to switch back to pretty litter. I do not recommend this litter unless you want your cat to develop asthma..
