Rated 1 out of 5 by from Purchased cement I’ve been buying Fresh Step litter for my cats for several years and have never had an issue until I purchased “Fresh Step Extreme Mountain Spring Scented Litter with Febreze, Clumping Cat Litter, 38 lb” Once I opened, I noticed there was no scent, and the litter was dark, similar to cement. I figured it was just one of the four packs that came out bad, so I opened another pack, and same thing, dark with no scent. Very disappointed as I now need to purchase another pack of cat litter.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst litter ever I bought Fresh Step litters before and they weren’t too back. I bought the Extreme and Fresh Paws this week and I will never buy it again. I may as well use a bag of cement. I have never had this hard of a time cleaning litter from the box as I do with this. It should come wit a jack hammer!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Way too much Dust! I have tried many litters from the cheapest to expensive, this the worst litter for dust that I have used. When cleaning the box I just hold the scoop up and let the clean litter run thru and there is dust rising. I have used Clean Paws and Slide and never had this problem before. I will not buy this one again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fresh Step Extreme with Fabreze This is so not the litter I have used for over 10 years. I am so disappointed in the change. The oder control is a negative and after a few uses in Litter Box by cat, the oder from cat is so noticeable. I use fresh step liners as well. This was not the case with this Fresh Step years ago. Clorox needs to re-think this and go back to the original Fresh Step with great order controI. Has such a tiny amount of blue Crystals that control oder. This "Fabreze" Fresh Step does not work and I had to purchase an additional bottle of Fresh Step Litter Box Deodorizing Crystals to shake over the Fresh Step Extreme Fabreze in cat box, to get the cat oder down. It appears Clorox has cut back on there Crystals that control oder in Fresh Step Extreme. Is Clorox now asking consumer to purchase a bag of Crystals to sprinkle over the cat litter to offset their cutback? How sad that this is no longer what it once was and the ratio of crystal to litter has diminished.
