It features Ammonia Block Technology and the power of Febreze to block litter box odors. Another reason to buy this product is because there is “little to no dust and it has the power if febreze. Many of the products state “Formulated to help keep your floors cleaner, and you happier.”” Formulated to help keep your floors cleaner, and you happier”. Some reviews say that it doesn't smell good. I however had no problems with this product and its overall very good.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No gain scent I have purchased Fresh Step with Gain for a long time. This is my favorite clumping cat litter. The fresh Gain smell lasts for a long time. The last 4 boxes I purchased at Walmart, had no fresh scent of Gain or Fabreze. I thought it was a fluke, however, 4 boxes later there has still been no scent of Gain or Fabreze in the litter. That was $60.00 water.
