Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not like it used to be I started using fresh scent shortly after I got two shelter cats from Petco cat adoption center. The cats came with a bag of litter when I Had to purchase I purchased fresh step that was 13 years ago. I loved it and have used it ever cents. The scent that it had was just exactly what it said fresh sent. It wasn't overly perfumed. It just had a Pleasant, gentle odor. Original formula did not have gain or Febreze now they sent is gone the lasting power that it used to have is gone coverup since with which I dislike immensely if you would've left it alone, there would have been no need for Febreze. it just has changed, but it does not change for the better for using it this long I know exactly what it used to be and what it is now as far as sent and durability lasting longer in between changes which now it does not. So that has made me on my search for a new cat litter. I really wished you would have left it alone. It was better than any brand out there now there's nothing special about it. It's just like the rest of them. It's not long lasting any longer the dust is terrible, the box says 99% dust that is incorrect if you saw the countertops where I keep my litter they are so full of dust you would not make that claim as all of us that use threshed up know perfectly well so I'm sorry like I said, but I am looking for a new litter. I wish you would have left it the way it was. Pleasantly scented long lasting good product. it is no longer any of those things. I'm sorry to say so. Wish me luck in my quest to find a new letter.

Sadly I purchased the 25 lb box of Febreze (Gain) Cat Litter 99.9% dust free... but when I poured it into the litter box for the first time there was a cloud of powdered dust from the start. Then later that evening my mainecoon cat became very sick, wheezing, coughing extremely hard and since that was the only thing that has changed in his environment I removed all the litter the next day and threw the entire 25lb box of litter out.I have to take him to the vet now because I've noticed that he is still having some difficulty breathing. So I'm going to have the Vet visit expense along with the loss of what I spent for this product. It had stated that it was 99.9% dust free and it definitely wasn't the case. I'm seriously praying that my cat recovers from this because it has made him extremely sick and he is an indoor cat that never goes outside. This is very disturbing and sad that it has made him so terribly sick!🥺

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I bought this for my new rescue and after we are done we will not buy another do you know cats have the higher smelling nose then we do about 200% more and you put all that Febreeze and Gaine scents in the litter it really botherd my nose I had to mix it with a plain unscented litter scoop for scoop what kind of people do you have doing the R&D they must not have any smarts about cats ,or must be a smoker I shouldn't have given your Co. even a one star

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lost a long time customer What happened to the litter. The consistency of this product has changed for the worst. I bought your litter for many years. But I'm just going to by tidy cay for now on because that is pretty much what I am using and for half the price.
