We are a local non-profit Shelter/Rescue/Adoption Center that also runs a low cost Spay/Neuter Clinic once a week. Our primary mission is to help people to get their cats spayed and neutered and to help get the number of unwanted cats and kittens in our area under control. Our secondary mission is to help as many animals and people with animals in our community as possible. We try to help not just cats, but with any animal situation. We receive no monies from state, federal or local government, but rely on the generosity of people in our community and fundraising efforts. All cats that arrive in our Shelter are tested for Feline Leukemia/FiV, treated for fleas and worms, given distemper & rabies vaccinations, and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before being sent downstairs to our Adoption Center. They remain there until they are adopted, no matter how long that takes.
