With Fresh Step® Clay litter, your cat helps keep the litter box smelling fresh and clean just by scratching or stepping. That's because our granules contain encapsulated fresheners that are activated when your cat scratches or steps releasing a light, fresh scent.


Our patented odor neutralizers control odor between uses so you can rest assured that the litter is always working. Our advanced formula helps stop the growth of odor-causing bacteria in the litter.


1. Start with a clean, empty litter box and pour in Fresh Step® Clay litter to a depth of 2-3 inches. Additional litter is recommended if more than one cat uses the litter box.

2. Regularly remove solid waste between complete litter box changes. Sprinkling additional Fresh Step® Clay litter each time you remove solid waste will help keep the litter box fresh. Dispose of solid waste and used litter in the trash.

3. Empty the entire litter box as needed, usually about once a week. Dispose of used litter in the trash; do not flush down the toilet or drain.
